Under the care of compassionate vets, the golden retriever began receiving treatment. The priority was to lower his body temperature and control the inflammation.
Only then could they address his other health problems. Slowly but surely, there was a glimmer of hope. His breathing became more stable. His eyes, once dull, began to reflect life again.

Once he could eat, the rescuers offered him chicken. The dog devoured it without hesitation, as if he hadn’t eaten in days.
